I don't like these holograms

.

Starla 05-19-2014 01:15 AM

I think they are a tool of the devil

If they can do this, they can produce images that make us think something/someone is there that is not and I think this is evil.

The exploding boy 05-19-2014 01:47 AM

I like Kimber. I mean fuck Jem really. Well not literally. Well ok i might anyway just for good measure.

The exploding boy 05-19-2014 01:47 AM

But I agree the bible should have something about holograms. i suppose they could go and retroactively add it, it's not like it would be the first time....

Elphenor 05-19-2014 01:51 AM

I can't think of anything more lame.

Elphenor 05-19-2014 01:52 AM

Of all the cool shit we could be doing with that tech.

Let's bring back white MJ!

The Omega Concern 05-19-2014 02:11 AM

That was my thought.

Also, I dont understand who would want this anyway.

Elphenor 05-19-2014 02:33 AM

I will be pissed if they bring like John Lennon on stage in hologram mode.

Cool As Ice Cream 05-19-2014 02:50 AM

what if they make him black?

Shallowed 05-19-2014 02:55 AM

I'd be impressed if they got a John Lennon hologram to play an actual guitar.

Maybe that's something they can work on.

Elphenor 05-19-2014 02:58 AM

They'll probably have him drinking coke and wearing Nike's.

Elphenor 05-19-2014 03:28 AM

Not of the top of my head.

It would take some effort.

It's not really anything to do with Christianity. I just don't get a good feeling about it. It's too strange, and I feel like these powers can be used for darker things. Like fucking with people's minds. In the mj 'performance' people are crying.. it just seems ridiculous and weird to me, especially at the end when they clap for that. It's not real, but it plays with their emotions enough to provoke such a response.

In the future, we will be able to communicate via holograms, project our video data etc like on minority report. But I think it could be used for more nefarious things as well. Imagine someone being able to construct a hologram of a dead relative and send them to your door.... just to fuck with you.

I don't know if Yoko would allow it.

Starla 05-19-2014 06:06 AM

I need to lay off my ancient aliens marathon.

POP CULTURE

I read an interesting article the other day (that i would have to go back through my history and try to find) and the author's main point was that the problem with pop culture boils down to the fact that it is spoonfeeding a selected emotional response to you. It's telling you what to think/how to feel yet doesn't expand further than that.

Which I guess is why some people call it shallow or superficial.

Not sure what to make of dead musicians "performing" as holograms, but with the holography technique you can also do some fascinating stuff imo.

Theater, opera - mystical/ghostly figures. Holograms of an animal chase. All sorts of things.

kelsome 05-19-2014 06:42 PM

I want a hologram of myself at my funeral telling everyone what I think of them.

kelsome 05-19-2014 06:43 PM

then I'll sing a song karaoke

Can you own the rights to someone's image? Or how does that legally work?

NASA's Project Blue Beam
By Serge Monast (1994)

The infamous NASA Blue Beam Project has four different steps in order to implement the new age religion with the Antichrist at its head.

Engineered Earthquakes & Hoaxed 'Discoveries'.

The Big Space Show in the Sky:

The second step in the NASA Blue Beam Project involves a gigantic 'space show' with three-dimensional optical holograms and sounds, laser projection of multiple holographic images to different parts of the world, each receiving a different image according to predominating regional national religious faith.

Pretty sure that site would be better called Misinform Yourself.

I don't see why for a lot the only logical alternative to mainstream media misinformation is crazy conspiracy theorists misinformation. They equal one another. To take either at face value is to be as moronic, just differently.

Do you want to label every technology that NASA used or helped to create?

The page you linked has a nice title: educate yourself.

To illuminate Starla's intuition that something dark and sinister can come from these holograms. It's called Project Blue Beam.

It was conceived decades ago and Werner Von Braun's warnings about it to some colleagues is corroborated by Serge Monast investigative journalism.

But go ahead and keep being cynical of me if that's how you gotta work through your cognitive dissonance on the subject. At some point though, suspend your disbelief and learn something, maybe even see how these muso's being replicated through imagery and already manipulating emotions are necessary to perfect the blue beam project. These beta-test seem to be working quite well.
