I pledge my life to ISIS

spidersoma 03-04-2017 09:14 PM

You're back!

Isis videos typically have much better production quality than this. Fake news.

redbreegull 03-04-2017 09:19 PM

Barack Obama founded this band

Trotskilicious 03-04-2017 09:37 PM

best band

Trotskilicious 03-04-2017 09:37 PM

i went to see emma ruth rundle/this will destroy you/deafheaven at the mohawk couple nights ago

crabshack 03-04-2017 10:12 PM

netphorians are scurrying to make you a medal

Trotskilicious 03-04-2017 10:15 PM

i was just trying to make conversation but you can be really weirdly insecure about it if you want

crabshack 03-04-2017 10:36 PM

still forging

I have no money so I had to skip Deafheaven again

I assume it was fucking crucial

Trotskilicious 03-04-2017 11:22 PM

people who make fun of them are missing out on a very talented group of dudes with a unique sound

but i think at this point in 2017, if hipsters are ruining it for you then you have some kind of manbaby insecurity issues and you probably like trump

FoolofaTook 03-05-2017 12:40 AM

I like isis.

deafheaven no thanks sorry.

Trotskilicious 03-05-2017 01:23 AM

that because you're a purist who needs the anti-hipster image

FlamingGlobes 03-05-2017 01:10 PM

Fuck yea

FlamingGlobes 03-05-2017 01:10 PM

The music board needs more of this. It'll make Elph cry.

Disco King 03-06-2017 01:20 AM

I like Deafheaven, too.

When I saw them live, though, they sounded less shoegazey than their recorded material, and kinda just sounded another post-hardcore-influenced black metal band.

Eh, it was still good, though. I dug it.

spidersoma 03-06-2017 01:54 AM

I didn't know Deafheaven was in town. Two solid albums from them so far.

I scored tickets to see At the Drive In at Stubb's in June.

Uh no I just don't like them.

Has something perchance squirmed up your pooper?

something's always up my pooper, man did you forget

there's two bands i like that other people tend to ruin: deafheaven and savages

its usually stuff about hipsters and gimmicks and in 2017 i believe people who are obsessed with hipsters are insecure and probably like trump

Trotskilicious 03-06-2017 03:58 PM

so i guess you got pretty low scores for reading comprehension

Dogfighter28 03-06-2017 05:00 PM

Wavering Radiant was way underrated

Trotskilicious 03-06-2017 05:14 PM

they never made a bad record

FoolofaTook 03-06-2017 05:28 PM

Do you like Alcest?

Disco King 03-06-2017 07:52 PM

I like how Isis' bandcamp is Isis (the band).

Just so you know that you aren't inadvertently listening to the post-metal stylings of ISIS (the Jihadist militant group). Those guys are more power metal, anyway.

Trotskilicious 03-06-2017 07:56 PM

they actually had to change the bandcamp, facebook, website etc to ISIStheband because they were getting so much hatespam

Trotskilicious 03-06-2017 07:57 PM

buzzard 03-08-2017 09:10 PM

The first time I saw them play remains the best show I've attended.
