Probably an upgrade to Purr Snickety. 24 bit to follow if there's any interest

Cool As Ice Cream 07-31-2009 02:22 AM

redbull 07-31-2009 02:23 AM

nope, my tape only went to track 9

Cool As Ice Cream 07-31-2009 02:24 AM

in that case i do want scans. or are they already included in the download?

redbull 07-31-2009 02:38 AM

bram here are the pics. i'm sure you probably want scans, these are just from my cell phone

Fonzie 07-31-2009 04:05 AM

so are they any different from the 'usual' b-sides? And why 2 Blew Aways?

redbull 07-31-2009 04:12 AM

I don't think they're any different. Purr Snickety is probably an upgrade. I thinkthe mastering is slightly different on one of the Blew Aways

thanks people. 24 bit would certainly be most welcome!

redbull 08-01-2009 10:17 AM

working on 24 bit, megaupload hates me right now

jimmy drevpile 08-01-2009 11:06 AM

thanks again.

flashpapr 12-03-2014 06:38 AM

Can we have a RE-UP of this one please? From the sounds of it this is probably the best digital version of Purr Snickety that's available still, seeing as Jewberg crapped all over it on the Iscariot 2nd disc... along with everything else.

Most of the tracks on this Virgin inhouse promo tape were put on Pisces Iscariot, and were used on Siamese Dream’s CD- and Vinyl singles like Today and Cherub Rock. Whirl was renamed to Whir, Apathy turned to Apathy’s Last Kiss, Purr Shnickety is a misspelling of Purr Snickety and Kitty Kat became Hello Kitty Kat. Also Bedazzeled is a misspelling of Bedazzled. Only for this reason of misspellings and renaming the tape is already very interesting. Research however proved that the 2 Kitty Kat tracks and the 2 Blew Away tracks are exactly the same… Dating this tape is a bit hard as it contains the fully mastered tracks, which was possibly not the case yet around 1993/05/??. Maybe only around or after 1994/10/?? they were all mastered, that’s for sure. It remains a 1 of a kind curiosity however.
