my mum told me my dad wants to vote for sanders, but she wanted to vote for klobuchar or warren and didn't care for bernie and would never vote for biden (this was last week). i wonder what she'll do now and i assume the DNC knew these were choices people would make and might be inclined to go on name recognition. i doubt my mother would ever vote for biden, though, so she might hold her nose and vote for bernie to at least have a united household and, plus, she's not voting for biden.
