The DIDJA KNOW? Thread: Proudly presented by Fuzzy

In this thread I'll impart surprising/shocking rock and roll history that most fellow music fans aren't aware of.

Enjoy!

Was a pleasure to read. Keep up the good work.

DIDJA KNOW: That one of Green Days largest and most popular singles actually premiered on a release earlier as a B-side on a CD-Single? Yes! It's True!

Good Riddance (Time of your life) was a staple on the bands 1997 release "Nimrod" and was a 1998 prom song for schools across the globe. What most Good Riddance fans don't know is that the song actually debuted 2 years earlier(!) on the bands "Insomniac" cycle! Yes! Believe it or not Good Riddance was a B-side on the "Brain Stew/Jaded" cd single officially released in 1995! It wasn't until 1997 that a producer suggested that they oughtta rework it and give it a more developed treatment for the upcoming new album! Good thing they did because it grabbed them the biggest relevance since 1994's "Dookie"

Listen for yoursel! (proudly presented by Fuzzy's DIDJA KNOW-TM thread)Enjoy! and for more music tidbits make sure to routinely check Netphoria for the Fuzzy's DIDJA KNOW weekly segment.

Now without further ado. Here it is!

Yeah, I was just trying to write in the style of like one of those web MD articles or one of those other stupid click-bait nutritional information sites or whatever.

Thinking I might start trying something like that for music. Kinda went over the top with it here for comedic purposes but fell flat:noway: Tough crowd!

slunken 07-04-2016 08:47 PM

You should post that picture of you again at your computer desk flipping the camera off with the colt 45 cans littering the desk.

It would be appropriate.

"It is nothing, I merely have a cold. But despite being infected by pathogens harmful to humans, I am most definitely fuzzyroes, and I am certainly not an alien. As you all know, I enjoy alcoholic beverages brewed from fermented grains, particularly of the light variety. I am also an avid listener of the alternative rock and pop punk of the 1990s. Nothing is amiss here."
