so bill is opening for Manson because legacy act

gyang333 03-31-2015 01:46 PM

I wonder how they'll decide who opens for who. Rotate every other stop?

MyOneAndOnly 03-31-2015 06:03 PM

Bill can't fill an arena as a headliner so my guess is he gets a 60-80 min set before Manson, who will play a 90-120 min show.

slunken 03-31-2015 07:24 PM

damn i guess you have to use a citibank card to pay for the tickets to use the citibank presale. there go my chances of going

pavementtune 03-31-2015 07:30 PM

you think these arenas are going to sell out within the next two days when the regular sale starts?

edit: I don't think they are selling that many reserved seats via this citibank presale.

for anyone without a Citi card and a venue requiring the Citi pre-sale.... i was on very quickly for 2 different venues which both showed a full seating map... i am happy with my seats but nearly 3 hrs later, i should point out that the seat maps look VERY similar for both venues, with the same areas blocked off and the same open seats in certain spots. my suspicion is that the Citi pre-sale simply opens up certain sections, with a very small handful of 'premium' seats released early so Citi can blab to their cardholders about event access. there is no way that many Citi cardholders all bought tickets within minutes and then stopped buying since.. lots of seats being held back imo..
sounds like what they did when you got tickets for the Ravinia gig via pledgemusic - the presale tickets weren't even the best areas of the venue.

LOL what did you assume since it's called a Citibank presale?

lol

how expensive are the tickets?

reprise85 04-01-2015 08:27 AM

US $75.25 - US $85.25
US $75.25 (US $98.30 with fees) US $85.25 (US $108.50 with fees)

in miami

lo fucking l

ill wait for the half price groupon or i wont go. im not paying $110 for a seat or $100 to stand the whole time. fuck you SP/MM

Cool As Ice Cream 04-01-2015 09:03 AM

wow, that's outrageous.
and it's not like it was very affordable on the last tours, if i'm not mistaken.

pretty shit that they're touring together. now everyone has to pay for both acts.

i mean, i'd probably wouldn't go see the pumpkins on their own anyway, but there is no way on earth i'd pay to see mm again. i saw him at a festival a couple of years ago and it was really bad and pathetic and the only acceptable song was a cover.

not really, no.

tickets are exactly the same as some gigs of SP alone in December were in the US - or Ravinia last summer.
PJ tickets are about the same, Nick Cave tickets are way more expensive, and you don't get to see a double bill.

Cool As Ice Cream 04-01-2015 11:02 AM

yes, really, yes!

who'd pay $100 to see sp? they just don't seem big enough for those kind of prices.

pavementtune 04-01-2015 11:03 AM

ahahaha, I just saw Nickelback plays the same venue on their tour.
clicked on tickets, guess what: $118, 50!

agreed on that, SP doesn't play in the high price league any longer, but take that to management! paging spcamp!

MyOneAndOnly 04-01-2015 04:20 PM

top tier presale tickets for the show near Detroit at the DTE center are $95. And that's for row "I" nine rows back from the front and to the right side of the stage. My guess is that when the rest of the tickets go on sale there will be $200-$300 golden circle jerk seats available front an center.

MyOneAndOnly 04-01-2015 04:23 PM

so far the announcement of this tour online has been accompanied with some pretty horrible photos.

Bill needs to come up with something better than this

MyOneAndOnly 04-01-2015 04:28 PM

TBH tho it would be funny to own a T Shirt with that on it

slunken 04-01-2015 07:52 PM

Detroit tour date already on groupon. Tickets for $15.

The machine of god 04-04-2015 12:20 AM

What kind of amateur 12 year photoshop designer made that poster. Fuck it's horrible.

I enjoy the idea of the tour nonetheless but sort out the promo. Jesus. I expect this from Billy but Manson generally nails his image. Who signed off on that shit. Makes you expect the production to be a tour banner printed on a digital printer at 72 dpi.

That's about all I have to contribute.

reprise85 04-04-2015 12:31 PM

im pretty sure that poster is purposefully low quality to invoke some kind of end times theme but maybe not

Saw SP3 at the Palace on the Oceania tour. Holds about 24k people. There was about 1500 people there. It was awkward.

reprise85 04-04-2015 02:47 PM

hold shit i didnt realize it was that bad

reprise85 04-04-2015 02:58 PM

if i can get tickets for less than $50 i will go. it seats 7,500. that doesn't seem so ridiculous for a joint show, they might sell that i guess.
