2016 Presidential General Election Thread

it is time

The Omega Concern 05-06-2016 05:47 PM

That Trump gif is rather disturbing.

I presume the hand over Hill's nose is to keep it from growing.

The Omega Concern 05-06-2016 05:47 PM

MyOneAndOnly 05-06-2016 09:30 PM

you forgot to post the pic of bill, hill and monica

The Omega Concern 05-06-2016 09:36 PM

Stew Webb recently claimed Hillary and Monica had an affair, to which Gordon Duff said he's gone completely off his rocker with that report. Such is the world of those alternative intel journo types.

TheAeroplane 05-07-2016 03:52 AM

That fucking Trump gif is creepy and disgusting. But coming from you it makes perfect sense.

Elphenor 05-07-2016 06:57 AM

wtf it's not that bad, I remember my first day on the internet though

Elphenor 05-07-2016 06:58 AM

What was way more disgusting was the "I love Hispanics" caption Trump put on the picture

What a piece of shit

MyOneAndOnly 05-07-2016 01:06 PM

the media keeps saying that Trump appeals to "working class voters" as a way of avoiding saying that trump appeals to racist white people, mostly men.

the guy has spend hardly any money on media for his campaign because every news organization spends countless hours talking about him, covering what he's saying, etc etc.

MyOneAndOnly 05-07-2016 01:09 PM

racist white men are "working class" but all other 'working class' people who are not white men are described by their so-called minority status. IE hispanics, african americans, women, muslims, etc

Elphenor 05-07-2016 01:46 PM

I love Hispanics that's why I want a wall to separate us from them

Elphenor 05-07-2016 01:48 PM

Did you see how he replied to Warren

Immediately brought up and insulted her native heritage

Racism is the only thing he knows

#sohillary

Elphenor 05-08-2016 07:58 AM

I mean she's right though

The way our system works defense attorneys must defend even people they are sure are guilty to the best of their ability.
Everyone deserves a fair trial

vixnix 05-08-2016 08:06 AM

Yeah. I guess that's the litmus test of a person though. Whether you do the job you're asked to do, even if you know it's a terrible thing to do, or whether you quit your job.

vixnix 05-08-2016 08:08 AM

That's why I said #sohillary. Because we all know which one we can expect her to do.

Elphenor 05-08-2016 08:13 AM

Well to not give each and every alleged criminal the best possible representation would be immoral as well

I'm sure this is not the only case where she did this, it's a necessary job not an immoral one

If they can't prove guilty without a doubt he shouldn't get life in jail

Elphenor 05-08-2016 08:17 AM

I mean I get what you're saying, but this line of attack is all over the place now and it's dumb

That isn't a universal truth, it's a flawed aspect of the U.S. criminal justice system.

No 41 year old whose legal representative laughs about them passing a polygraph and then states she'll never trust a polygraph again, should be able to avoid an appropriate sentence for raping a 12 year old, simply because their representative was better qualified to manipulate the legal system than that representing the victim.

That's the system you have. The decisions people make within that system, is what makes it the shitty mess it is today.

vixnix 05-08-2016 08:25 AM

I mean I don't think she's any different to anyone else in the political system or legal system. She's no worse than anyone else.

Apart from The Bern, obviously. The Bern woulda quit.

vixnix 05-08-2016 08:28 AM

No, I'm still talking about Billary

She is native you fucking twat

Elphenor 05-08-2016 08:35 AM

What if I told you there are white people with native blood

I know this because I fall just short of the necessary amount of native to qualify btw

Bern is def the kind of guy to believe in fair trials so I wouldn't be so sure

Protecting the underdogs and all that is a major progressive thing

It is preferable to a system that convicts non-criminals more frequently

Better to have 10 rapists get off free than for 1 innocent man to spend a single day in jail

vixnix 05-08-2016 08:54 AM

Pretty sure the fact that the U.S. incarcerates more of its adult population than any other country in the world, would indicate that your criminal justice system returns plenty of false positives, as well as letting off surefire rapists. Nice one!

Believing in a fair trial is not the same as doing your best to help a 41 year old avoid legal consequences for raping a 12 year old.
