has anyone noticed one-day gas boycots don't work?

1) they're supposedly every day, spreading the influence
2) the people who actually don't buy gas either don't need it, filled up the day before, or plan on filling up the day after....
3) the only way the gas companies will be hurt is if a LOT of people start taking the metro... which won't happen
