the interface is better
you can convert flac > mp3 directly (can't do this in tlh if i recall), and select bitrates or lame settings
foobar is also an awesome library organizer

i still use TLH for WAV>FLAC and checksums though, it does a great job patching sbes as well

oh yeah, foobar also does tags which is awesome. I use a plugin called "live show tagger" for anything I've recorded before I seed it

i <3 foobar as much as i can <3 audio playing software. it still has some annoyances to me but it's better than winamp imo and much better than anything else
