Guitar hero is more instantaneously engaging than learning a real instrument which requires a lot more patience and a lot less fun to begin with.

i like guitar hero but expert mode is insanely hard and seems like you should be learning to play a real instrument instead of trying to get a high score

I heard once you get to expert mode, many parts of guitar hero becomes more difficult than playing the song on a real guitar.

it's just kind of depressing to see youtube videos of people playing expert freebird on guitar hero like it's an accomplishment

i think you meant to use a semi colon there.

i always play on expert. i don't really play guitar as much as i do drums because that is a lot like playing real drums, and it's a way i can bond musicially with my non musician friends.
