So my 15-year-old super-OCD cousin is coming to live with us

He showed lots of signs of ADD and OCD as a kid, but they all kinda quietened down. Then apparently a few months ago he was in germany (he's half german) and he got a big fright (didn't get the specifics of this one) and now all the OCD behaviours have returned and are becoming really bad. He can't deal with anything german (which includes his dad, my uncle), and is ritualising a heap. Taking 4 hours to go to bed, chanting, stuff like that.

So we get to keep him for a while. I haven't been exposed to the kid except for at christmas in last 5 or 6 odd years. This should be interesting

poor kid. he must be hurting real bad. he needs to see a therapist.

Yeah i haven't seen him since all this happened but his dad is shattered cause he basically cant be in the same room as his son. Apparently he's not as bad when he's not at home.
