These were from a geek comic-con thingy. I think Karen Allen looks better now then what she did in the first one.

Also, is it just me or does Harrison Ford look fucking embarrassing as Indy? It's like Sean Connery returning as Bond.

P.S. I put spoilers because I didn't know how many of you fans know about Karen Allen returning.

word is Connery is back. they were/are denying it to keep it secret. can't remember where i saw this rumor, but i don't think its beyond the realm of possibility.

I saw this on G4 this afternoon. all they did was introduce some of the cast members while in costume. The guy behind Spielberg is Ray Winstone. Harrison Ford called him his sidekick for the film. Next to Ray Winstone off screen is Shia LaBeouf, Indy's "other sidekick."

just found this. looks like a shot that would be early in the movie before indy gets back in the saddle or whatever they'll have him do. It's the costume that Labeouf was wearing today except I think he had more scruff.

there was a BBC thing (i think) where he played Henry VIII and I think he actually *is* Big Hank brought to the future in a time machine. Helena Bonham Carter played Anne Boleyn.

i have confidence that they're going to make fun of indy's age, and i hope there's stuff that he has trouble with because he's older. I think Harrison Ford has always been one of the best people at acting out physical pain. Blade Runner is a great example of this. Indy's always been the kind of mad scramble awkward hero in the first place, and since all of this is intentionally built on archetypes, he's the trickster and the trickster doesn't need to be young or old to be a sharp and interesting character.

He was good in that sweeney todd adaptation that the bbc did a while back, i do like him, although I didn't think sexy beast was all that hot.

also, sexy beast is one of the few british movies i've seen where the accents can be near impenetrable for my american ear.

of course I haven't seen that scottish movie Orphans though. I think I remember my parents telling me that most of the movie has subtitles. It's like everyone in it is Spud from Trainspotting.
