She works at a fashion magazine. It's pretty soap oper-y but it's also very funny and somewhat campy.

America is very good and Vanessa Williams is actually terrific as well. Actually there are a shitload of characters and I like all of them pretty well.

I enjoy it. The characters are quite engaging and it doesn't drag at all. AF is quite cute actually.

I wouldn't call it crap.... it's pretty well-acted, and while it's fluffy and campy, the characters are interesting. Unlike, say, Desperate Housewives, which is pretty unwatchable and everyone is always doing something stupid and four of the five main actresses can't seem to get that comedic acting doesn't mean standing going "look how ridiculous my character is!"

I am so obsessed with this show. It's pretty much the only show I make sure to watch every week.

Dude la fea mas bella is sooo bad compared to betty la fea.
Betty la fea was serious, and I think la fea took the comical approach. Betty didn't make those stupid faces and shit. It was so good.
