Default for anyone still using old school winamp

god i love this program. just found a plug in a few weeks ago, so simple, adds a memory of undo-able actions to your playlist, so if you accidently delete or change a playlist you can just click undo as many times as you need.

something so simple can make such a difference, to go from my current listening playlist to a blank playlist then add just one song for monitoring sake on repeat, and with 2 undos your back to your old playlist when your done.

there's been so many times i've used this plugin since i installed it, love it.

im sorry, i just cant see why anyone would give a shit about a plugin like that
plugins that i use to death each and every day are pitch altering and tempo changing plugins, and a so called "vocal remover" that just gives you a peek into what going on deep in the recording, but isnt worth shit for a vocal remover.

I'm still using V2.80 because I was told that the "jump" command wasn't in later versions. Is this correct?

What, like VBulletin LOL

Y'know winamp 5 was a direct continuation from winamp 2.9 or whatever they got up to, right? There's nothing bloated about it, and it's more up-to-date

It's your database of songs, so you can search for tracks and artists and albums by typing a bit of the name and it'll give you a list of what it's found. It's like a more powerful jump thing only it doesn't rely on playlists. Plus it has internet radio and all that junk in there too

Nope. I'm still using 2.8 because it works with my pre-existing plugins, and it works fine. I'll use Core if i want to get fancy

Well they should still work really, unless they wouldn't have worked in 2.9 - it's the same codebase, like winamp 3 never happened. But it ain't no thing

i play guitar along with most of the songs i listen to regularly, but not all of them are played in the same tuning (some eb, some e, some d, etc)
if im very lazy ill just use the plugin instead of getting a diff guitar

well that's fine, but can't you see how relatively obscure your own concerns are? if someone finds an undo function helpful to their personal Winamp usage, there's no justification for belittling their own convenience-seeking. i have no need for the plugin myself, being a user of foobar2000 which has undo/redo built in, but i think not worth asking illustrated its utility adequately. tut-tut!

Just install Winamp 5 without modern skin support. It looks just like 2.x with better functionality, true gapless playback and many security holes have been identified and fixed since the 2.x days...

oh yeah I hate when you double click a song and it wipes your playlist... there is a way around it though..

... I can't remember what it is or anything, I just know I set it up on my laptop before christmas.. instead of wiping your list it just adds the track you've double clicked to your current playlist and plays it.
