1. Asafa Powell. 9.77 seconds. This is the joint fastest time anyone has ever ran the 100m, meaning I’ve placed him in joint first position.
1. Justin Gatlin. 9.77 seconds. This is the fastest American on my list and the joint fastest runner overall. He deserves his place on any list of the top 7 all-time fastest 100 meter runners (men). 3. Maurice Greene. 9.79 seconds. Compare this guy’s time with any of the times below and you should gain a clue as to why he’s number 3 on my list. Very quick man. 4. Donovan Bailey. 9.84 seconds. This guy is the only Canadian on my list who is equally as fast as the only other Canadian on my list. 4. Bruny Surin. 9.84 seconds. If you don’t agree that this guy’s time is as fast as Donovan Bailey's you may need to get your eyes tested. 4. Tyson Gay. 9.84 seconds. This guy epitomizes what 100m sprinting is all about: getting from one end of the track to the other as fast as possible. 7. Leroy Burrel. 9.85 seconds. The time speaks for itself. Fastest Leroy on the planet by a mile. FACT. 7. Olusoji Fasuba. 9.85 seconds. I used to think this guy’s running style was too bouncy. He proved me wrong, bouncing his way to joint seventh on my list. Last edited by Grumble : 11-21-2006 at 02:02 PM. |

in my opinion, we should have an "alternative Olympics" in which we allow the athletes to boost themselves with drugs as much as they please. the added risk of athletes dying on the track would add to the overall entertainment value.
