theres no way the REAL SEX aspect of this movie isnt a gimmick no matter what, but it's such a good movie that i don't really care
stylistically it's fine (john cameron mitchell is capable of beautiful shots but hes kind of schizophrenic and there are ugly moments. i guess thats kind of the point. maybe.) and its funny as hell

i knew id like it when i saw a review that called it woody allen's manhattan w/ money shots
and its a lot better than hedwig and the angry inch

also for canadians apparently the lead actress is a former much music vj and you get to see her getting nailed FOR REAL

Yea I saw a preview screening of it a few weeks ago, It's pretty awesome, really really funny. Unfortunately it tries to get to serious in the last quarter. Lots of hot female nakedness (and lots of dicks for you guys of that persuasion)

really? i bought it not knowing what it was about for 5 bucks it because i like documentaries . The part where the kid is talking to the mirror as a woman was really intense but i found myself hating the guy throughout it with the shitty one line of naration that would pop up. He was a charismatic fellow when he was young but It struck me as being a vehicle to show off his various hairstyles. Im sure theres better myspaces out there than his movie.

tasty's right, this is a really good movie!

i went to it a few weeks ago, expecting to probably hate it. the sex is sometimes totally unnecessary and gimmicky-- especially the opening montage, but other than that, this movie was really sweet and had a lot of heart and characters i really cared about.

sook-yin is really good in it, and there are like a billion people in cameos too. the guy that played james is hot.

i just cant believe i was in some theater watching people fuck on screen FOR REAL but there was nobody beating off or wearing a raincoat and i just really wish that there was an MTV VJ instead of a much music one

it makes me angry that there is a performance artist named "Bitch" featured in this movie
even though i really liked it i get angry at this queer shit
so many of the people in this movies look like extras from party monster
and they indulge in such immoral lifestyles, it just makes me sick
im going to write a movie where the actors NAIL each other but its about a blue collar family and its just the man coming home from work and pounding his wife

I saw it last night and liked it. I really liked the Severin character and was a little dissapointed that she didn't really get any conclusion in the film like the other characters. And there were two people who were fooling around in the back of the theater, although there were only a total of 6 of us there.
