View Full Version : 'I'm ready' sucks Siva rules 07-05-2005, 09:21 AM To my opinion this is the album's worst song. It has this Adore type of drumming like in Dusty + Pistol Pete (which I didn't like either). Time to bring Jimmy back in the picture to supply Billy with some kick ass drumming like in the good old days. automata 07-05-2005, 09:31 AM I dont like the song much either. Not a very good point. You could probably say that about most songs. I'm a big Bob Dylan fan, and his originals just don't sound near as good to me unless it's his voice and guitar playing. Billy wrote I'm Ready for his voice and guitar playing. If Mariah Carey did it, then yeah it would probably suck. Case in Point: Listen to the I Am Sam Soundtrack tuff gnarl 07-06-2005, 03:31 PM yeah...let me rephrase that a bit. i personally think it's a terrible song on a terrible album. i think many people want to like it simply because they are die-hard corgan fans. it clouds their judgement. maybe some really do like it. i don't doubt it. but i think there are a lot of people who are really kidding themselves when they talk about how brilliant it is.
