Dark Center of the Universe just missed making the list. And I never really liked Morning of the Magicians... although not having anything from Yoshimi on there is ridiculous.

Modest mouse would be like the greatest band ever if they'd actually play Cowboy Dan, Trailer Trash, dramamine, Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, Truckers Atlas and the like consistantly.

I've never heard much about their live show... do they mostly stick to the new stuff? The only time I've seen them is on Austin City Limits, and it was nearly all Moon and Antarctica.

It's like half new album, a third M&A, and a few select songs from the other releases. They mix it up, but the ratio is still around that - and if ever there was a band I wanted to see Greatest Hits type sets from with one or two new songs, MM is it.

It takes a certain level of mental retardation to think there are even 10 good Modest Mouse songs.
