eh, ya know, listening to this again I remember that while its made up of interesting indian percussion with intense beats, it's nothing too special. good back.ground music at the least. but there are some great musicians on it (Zakir Hussein, Bill Laswell)

chocolate and cheese on the other hand stands out more as something worth checking out

why do people like Leviathan so much? Remission seems better to me.

Mastodon and Pelican are both too pussy for me anyway though.

Mastodon and Pelican are both too pussy for me anyway though. yeah if you want it to be rough and metal to teh maxz, remission is better. i like it a lot as well. leviathan is a masterpiece though. i have never heard any other metal band incorporating such elaborate, fantastic melodies in such extremely focussed songs.

pelican is great too but yeah i'm not that much of a metalhead. i appreciate good music, dammit.
