It was done in July 1996, and that session has never come out. sanspolanco 06-08-2005, 07:51 PM Originally posted by transluscent Sheila wasn't demo'd with that batch. That was the director's original intent but for some reason or another, it never worked out and they went with some Counting Crows song. The Counting Crows song isn't bad though, and it works for that scene but, I think To Sheila would have been better. RopeyLopey 06-08-2005, 08:21 PM Originally posted by Jerome of to sheeeila if you pay me the air-ticket, I am ready to come and record it with you as a duet! wHATcOLOR 06-08-2005, 08:22 PM yes!!! i'll pull a Bill and hide your vocals beneath everythying else though, so consider this fair warning. TumoraXsault 06-08-2005, 09:06 PM hat was the director's original intent but for some reason or another, it never worked out no, it wasnt...where did you hear this information? Ugly 06-08-2005, 09:14 PM Originally posted by TumoraXsault no, it wasnt...where did you hear this information? Dunno, but I've seen it too. It was either to Shelia or Blank Page. but an Adore song was supposed to be in the movie, then got shitcanned. sanspolanco 06-08-2005, 10:45 PM i want a demo of sheila so that i can complete my new adore tracklist. you guys have to try this tracklist out: 1. ava adore 2. pug 3. annie-dog 4. once in awhile 5. shame 6. tear 7. because you are 8. blissed and gone (the version from "still becoming apart") 9. blank page i am wondering, would an acoustic stripped down sheila work with this tracklist? i begin to think it might not even work. -sjp sanspolanco 06-08-2005, 10:58 PM Originally posted by sanspolanco i want a demo of sheila so that i can complete my new adore tracklist. you guys have to try this tracklist out: 1. ava adore 2. pug 3. annie-dog 4. once in awhile 5. shame 6. tear 7. because you are 8. blissed and gone (the version from "still becoming apart") 9. blank page i am wondering, would an acoustic stripped down sheila work with this tracklist? i begin to think it might not even work. -sjp ok, i've got it, the last track should just end as the album on cd ends with 17. i forget this is the final track since its not on the record. wahl-la, my new adore is complete. i also think the cover should have been the black and white picture of the band inside the linear notes. -sjp sanspolanco 06-08-2005, 11:03 PM Originally posted by sanspolanco ok, i've got it, the last track should just end as the album on cd ends with 17. i forget this is the final track since its not on the record. wahl-la, my new adore is complete. i also think the cover should have been the black and white picture of the band inside the linear notes. -sjp and yes, this is the last time i will try to play god. i only throw this out there for the fun of recreating adore. -sjp Nate the Grate 06-08-2005, 11:11 PM why would you need a demo of to sheila? it practically sounds like a demo anyways. |
