Not another one of these bullshit operations again, please...

"We'll all go buy it 'together!' One guy gets the originals and sells the rest to everyone else to 'recover costs' and say it's not selling because everybody wants it and we'll look the other way - 'just this once.'"

Uugh, why bother arguing. - Oh well I will anyway.

Say someone sees a cool rare item they are worried will be hoarded. This someone then looks for numbers of people to put in, buys the expensive item and distributes it to all who promised to contribute.

It is only a matter of point of view whether you consider this a group of people putting in to buy the item and then receiving a copy OR whether someone has bought the item and is now selling copies. (One could of course argue that the difference here would be whether the seller recoups his money, or makes a profit)

As such a matter of opinion, it is a worthless argument. The people you say are looking the other way, just have a different point of view than you, one which fits with their morals.

There is a simple answer, if you do not want a copy, or you believe that getting a copy would constitute buying it from the auction winner, and that doesn't fit your morals, don't get a copy.

Understand others have differing points of view, and don't complain when they contribute.
