So I rented the Director's Cut the other day and I didn't like it as much as the original. It explained a few things which I didn't understand or didn't get when watching the original version, but I didn't feel the movie flowed as well. All those montage like cuts of the sky and the eyeball and stuff just took away from the film.

no way. i hated the first version; the director's cut was much better.

maybe i just didn't feel as stupid, since it explained everything in better detail.
