anyone? There is no version on the net that sounds right....when you watch billy play at the budokan show he uses chords mainly located between 5th and 7th fret i think.

can anyone help me out?

i like to add this one to the end of that sequence...

it sounds like billy does this on the sacred + profane comp.

he doesnt use capo on the version i'm talking about. chord one is definitely right, as is chord 3...i'm not entirely sure about the second one, since it look's like is only doing a minor finger change. i also would like to know how he plays this little break inbetween those three chords....he goes up to second fret and then third or something. whatever

But thanx a lot

the second chord they put is also correct; listen to 12.02.00 SBD, you can hear it pretty clearly there. and the one union jack put is correct as well, not sure if its on the album version, but live, he played it that way. and the capo thing is for the album, i believe in guitar world they discussed the tuning of that one. but live they just skipped the capo

Maybe his guitar is tuned up for the song? And the second change is only a little one - fret the C# with your first finger and the A with your second, and on the next chord drop the second finger down to the E. Fret the 5th with your pinky if you like, you could probably get away without it.

Not that I've seen this video or whatever, but hey

those of you that haven't heard the budokan version are missing out. it's absolutely fantastic and beautiful

i like to play it like

for 'crashing down..'? i think it sounds right

then

for the moody ones like 'someday we'll wave hello'

noone has mentioned the 'be enough yeah only love will' part
i think

works very well for that

the only thing that bugs me yet are the two chords he changes between right at the end when he only strums on beat one.
it sounds so simple but i just can't get them right

edit: just realized you said some of this already

Any idea on the small interchange after the 3 chords?

Actually the crashing down part sounds more like Asus E F#m
