I always get confused with MCIS record sales. I remember reading that worldwide it has gone something like 20+ platinum, but is that going by our own platinum code, or by the other countries' code? I know that the qualifications for something to go platinum always vary from country to country.

Platinum in the US is 1 million CDs. MCIS gets counted double essentially since it was a double disc. Divide by 2 and that's the actual number of copies sold.

That's the thing that sucks. Say the album sells 20 million, but it's really 10. Lame.
