Dead 04-06-2005, 07:26 AM Every vinyl Purr is full of crackle, it's nice to hear a clean one finally. CherubDaydream 04-06-2005, 08:10 AM Originally posted by Dead Every vinyl Purr is full of crackle, it's nice to hear a clean one finally. the spvc one is crackle-free Dead 04-06-2005, 08:26 AM Untrue. Bobbin TB 04-06-2005, 01:09 PM its meant to have the crackle. wHATcOLOR 04-06-2005, 01:13 PM Originally posted by CherubDaydream the spvc one is crackle-free fuck you Cool As Ice Cream 04-06-2005, 01:26 PM Originally posted by CherubDaydream the spvc one is crack-free unlike your girl with many butts, i guess. As usual. Dead 04-06-2005, 07:01 PM No Purr Snickety vinyl source is crackle free, there are crackles in the actual source used to create the vinyl. You can tell by comparing different transfers from different copies. This is the first time it's ever been available in a clean version. I have every vinyl transfer around, plus my own, all with crackle. I have SPVC too, so I don't know why you say it has no crackle. If it didn't then I wouldn't have bought my own Cherub Rock 7" to have transferred. The End. DeviousJ 04-06-2005, 08:14 PM I guess it's pretty cool for things which weren't in circulation... but the idea of buying whole albums for the price they're asking, without physically owning the disc or any of the artwork, and having the music in lower quality - it just sounds stupid. What's the bitrate on these things anyway? I heard someone say the mp3s are 128Kbps :erm Dead 04-07-2005, 06:19 AM 128kbps AAC files. Supposedly better than MP3. They sound alright. Worth 99 cents, assuming they aren't available on CD, which almost all of them are. DeviousJ 04-07-2005, 12:01 PM Well that's better than 128kbps MP3s, still not near CD-quality though. They do sell MP3s right? Dead 04-07-2005, 04:55 PM Not from iTunes. |
