He lacks charisma and can't fire up the crowd like SOME people. I've seen him 3 times in the Pumpkins (1 Siamese tour show, 1 Mellon Collie show and 1 Adore show), and once in Zwan and EVERY show was great. He's not affraid to play totally revamped editions of his most popular songs and just about every song gets re-written for each tour. Very good live performer. You can tell he gives each show 100%. Quiet CD 04-01-2005, 02:16 PM I've seen the Pumpkins and Zwan about 6 times each, and every time was absolutely amazing. I would expect anything short of that from Billy, he actually puts effort into his concerts where as most musicians just play their album to a tee (you could just put on a pair of headphones and not pay 30 bucks to see some people). As mentioned before, numerous varying renditions and such were always a part of Billy's live act, why should we expect any less from him.
