if it is between thos two, take the amptron. the specs are pretty much the same as the acer and it's cheaper.

If those are your only 2 choices, on a ~300 budget you'd be better off with a Viewsonic A91f+ CRT. I've never heard of Amptron, and never anything but bad things about anything/everything Acer.

I don't want a CRT, I'm getting a LCD monitor. Those are not the only 2 choices I have, but I'd like to get one around that price range, I know I could spend $500 on a better one. Remember those are in canadian currency also.

I'd never heard of Amptron's before either, but I'd rather buy from Staples (Bureau en Gros) than Radio Shack, that's for sure.
