It's the only small club I've ever been so I have nothing to compare it to. I was kinda pissed that they took away my cookies before the show - I have diabetes, dammit! I might need those! Other than that, though, it was quite an experience. The restaurant was good ;o

Severin heard one Polish girl asking Corgan about it after their ZWAN show in Dresden, and he told her it's because we don't buy CDs, we are just copying them.

If this is the true reason for that, then Corgan is a real tool. Too bad he has never checked out the prices of CDs in the stores around Poland or Czech rep. in relation to their prices even in the West.

Honestly? I don't believe in that "copying CDs" story; it's very true what you say about the prices. Sometimes it's even better to buy something in German Amazon and pay for the international shipping....
One guy from the Polish SP messageboard was at the Zwan concert in Hamburg (or Berlin don't remember sorry!) and before the gig Billy had appeared outside the venue to give some autographs and shake hands... so this guy asked him why he wasn't coming to Poland with Zwan and B. said that they had had too many problems with the SP concerts in eastern-central europe and Zwan management was pretty reluctant to organise anything there (pathetic excuse)... i've no idea what kind of problems these might have been but the insinuation was that were some financial matters (predictable isn't it).
Anyways, during the very same gig, before the last encore, billy said that he always likes to come back there because vicinity of neighbouring countries reminds him of "this Polish girl" (whomever he had on his mind) :)

hah yeah, well, that's really quite predictable. Too bad I forgot to ask him about this in October during the book signing.
