I heard another rumor that Billy's solo is going to sound very similar to the style that Appels + Oranjes is. (Similar to Jimmy's solo?) Its not going to be complete techno, but better then Zwan...which is a HUGE plus :D

I listened to Adore earlier today, and I thought to myself that A+O was an underrated song. I don't really know what to think about the album sounding like it though. I don't think an Adore-ish sound would be a bad thing, so long as it has some of the edge that Adore didn't.

As for being better than Zwan, sure, I could go for that. The only thing better than a good album is a great album.

I cant read that font colour against the black background. And i dont like you enough to highlight it.

i agree that it will probably have a style similar to the sound that Appels + Oranjes and the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex share!

i am hoping for at least a scent of eye, the ransom soundtrack, annie dog, and to sheila. a little a+o style wouldn't be bad either.

i actually like appels and oranges. I'll like the song if this is true , but it'll completely flop :(

Billy said the album is rawk. A+O isn't really my idea of rock music.

The sound of the music may be similar to Adore, but his vocals won't sound anything like it, which is a shame. I was listening to Behold! The Night Mare yesterday when I realized that Billy's voice will never sound better than that. He adds way too much vibrato now... tries too hard to sing "by the book," that he's lost a lot of the coolness. I really enjoyed Billy's voice when he used to sing soft and sweet with just a gentle whisper, like on To Sheila, or Night Mare, or Stumbleine, or By Starlight, but when you listen to the songs from his little poetry tour, you can tell that he's had too much coaching from voice teachers. I liked it better when he had his own way of singing.

i sure hope his solo album is guitar based. i applaud the pumpkins attempts at the synth-ey stuff... but it's definately not billy strength. i want a return to riff-based songs
