Hey, doing a uni project and am looking for any films that used the pumpkins song in the film. So far the only one i have found is Lost Highway which has eye in it. Is it the only film that used the pumpkins music?

You know what really sucks? Back in 2000, KROQ down in southern California was offering tickets to the final Metro show if people could call in an answer a Pumpkins related question. You had to be the 106th caller, or something, and they only did it during their morning program. Well, one Tuesday morning, I ditched school to stay home and try to win the tickets. They ran the promo like three times that morning. The first two times, I didn't get through. The third time, I was caller 108, but the first two people didn't know the answer to the question, so they got to me. The question was "name two movies that had music from The Smashing Pumpkins." When the screener asked me the question, I answered "Batman and Robin, and Ransom." The screener said no, and hung up on me. :(

Guess they didn't have Ransom on their list. It should have counted but I guess they were being picky or ignorant. The bitches.

Billy was in negotiations to have "to sheila" appear in the film cruel intentions, but for one reason or another it didnt work out and a counting crows song was used in the movie instead (during the scene when Ryan Phillipe is coming up the moving stairs.) I was told by a freind that "to sheila" was used in the tv show, "the OC" during its first season. However, I didnt see it and have only seen the show once or twice.

I videocaptured this scene. They also used Landslide on Alias and Blank Page (I think) on Roswell.

They used "Bodies" on the Holiday Programme once, while this little kid was sledging down this hill. That was pretty fucking sweet but of no relavence at all to the original question. goodnight

Bullet wit Butterfly Wings from Willard trailer. When I first saw that trailer I didn't know if I wanted to laugh or role my eyes being that the movie is about a bunch of fucking rats!:rolleyes:

hey, eye was in lost highway. i don't think anyone has said this yet.

tonight tonight was in an amazing episode of "sabrina the teenage witch" in where sabrina was on a quest to go to a pumpkins concert. the scene in which the song was played was when she was riding her broom to the show!

they advetised it as "the smashing pumpkins will be on sabrina...", but alas, no pumpkins, just the song.
