View Full Version : "Float On" Kidz Bop
ZackZ 03-03-2005, 03:46 PM I shit you not this is for real. My roommate who is a big MM fan has it. I suppose it could be fake, but if it is they did a damn good job of emulating a choir of 8 year olds. It also has a different lead singer as well as the kidz backup vocals.
This is pretty funny, espeically if you are a MM fan. I know it's Isaac "I grew up in a trailer home" Brock, but come on, this is a pretty ridiculous way to make money.
ZackZ 03-03-2005, 03:46 PM Oh, I'll try and post it soon too.
peabody 03-03-2005, 03:50 PM it is true. they play it on the commercial all the time.
Deleted_User 03-03-2005, 03:52 PM i doubt that it was isaac brock who sold the rights of his songs to kidz bop. after all they are on geffen or whatever the fuck label they're on.
So Billy Corgan produced it, or something along those lines?

redbreegull 03-03-2005, 07:45 PM You don't have to sell the rights to your song for someone to cover it.
ZackZ 03-03-2005, 07:57 PM Hmm, mods may want to move this. I have no idea how I posted this in the SP board.

a lot of the other songs they have on those cds have way more 'mature' content
Axl Rose 03-03-2005, 10:11 PM this song was already annoying the 500th I heard it!
Didn't think it could get any more annoying!!!:(
ZackZ 03-04-2005, 01:04 AM Well, since we have lazy mods, I guess I'll keep posting here.
Still haven't gotten ahold of the song yet. It's just a matter of my lazy roommate dropping in my shared folder.
Anyway, the song seems to have better production value than the original. The guitar playing is tighter as is the drumming. The guy singing doesn't have a lisp, although he sings in a somewhat comical fashion. The little kids backing it up though are hillarious.
