it's only comfortable at 70, but we keep it at 64 to save on costs. it's really cold.

my landlord controls the heat in my place. it's usually comfortable, though.

i think i'd die

70 used to be normal for me but it was too damn expensive in houston (the AC was on year round) so i got used to 78 as the norm

It's a scientific fact that men prefer it cooler than women.

I haven't even called the power company to light the furnace yet. There's no reason. I like it cool.

Probably around 68 is perfect

i like how all you guys live in places where keeping it in the 60s is cheap.

i keep it around a comfortable 72-ish.

chris likes to TURN OFF THE HEAT AT NIGHT! it fucking kills me. and his bed is right next to a super drafty window and he makes me sleep closer to it. it sucks but his energy bill was way high so i understand and just pile the blankets on.

I keep the thermostat set between 12 and 20 degrees celcius, usually around 15. I don't have a thermometer, so I don't know the actual temperature... the floors are cold in here, but everything is pretty comfy. It's warm compared to my friends's apartments.

I like it anywhere from 69-73.

I live with my grandparents.
My Grandfather wants it cold, and my Grandmother wants it out.
The temp. is always changing here.
I don't mind it if it's out though.

if you're cold, put a sweater on, don't turn up your thermostat.

holy shit that's cold.

we don't pay for heating, so we like to keep it jacked at 21 or 22

I think the insulation is pretty good, because I'm not cold, and people don't complain that it's cold here.

I'm in a t-shirt right now and I find it warm.

My house is 19C (66F) during the night and when I'm not home during the day. It's 22C (72F) in the morning when I get up and in the evening when I get home. I just got this programmable thermostat about 5 months ago and love it.

Depends.. if it's really cold or really hot outside, I'll turn on the heat or air and let the apartment adjust (usu. about 72 if it's cold outside and about 70 or so if it's hot outside), but if it's just kind of moderate outside, I don't really mess with the thermostat, so I don't know.

I think my apartment's insulation is really crappy too.

My boyfriend likes his place in the 60s year round. If it hadn't been for me, he never would have turned his heater on this winter. haha

eric thinks i'm insane for keeping it at 70-73 degrees.

he likes it no higher than 60.

this is what happens when a hawaiian marries a montanan.

its our only major disagreement in our marriage.
