Okay, quick. I have a wedding to go to on Sunday, which dress should I wear?

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/existentialist/lime.jpg">
or
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/existentialist/red.jpg">

Red would go better at a Chinese wedding (red is a lucky azn color and all that crap) but it's just the reception. And I've worn the red one often but I have never worn the green one yet. I am leaning towards the lime, but just wanted to get some opinions here. Thanks.

(This is a cross post from my LJ).

Oh, man. Also, should I leave off my watch? I really like having a watch on, but. I dunno, mismatching? :(

Meh.

Since my vote doesn't count anyway in this system of ours, I throw my vote in with green.

But uh. I'm not wearing a bra in any of those because I have no strapless. You know, not that it really matters, because I am a size A cup now, thnx. :x

The red one, in that picture at least, makes you look like you have a big belly ... which you don't at all. Why is that?

I prefer the green, it is soothing and light.

[I was going to post this in the other wedding thread...but it up and disapeared...so since I took the time to write it, I'm taking the time to hijack this thread and post it here. Thank you.]

I'm not good at weddings. Last one I attended, I caught the bride's garter belt. I had no idea about the tradition surrounding the thing. I just saw that no one else was catching it, so I grabbed it as to not be rude. (It was a sweet catch, too.) When I walked back to my seat and sat down, the groom (one of my better friends for the good part of 20 years) informed me of what I was supposed to do, I turned, looked at the maid of honor sitting under a spotlight in the middle of the ballroom, said, "Fuck no!", threw the garter belt over my shoulder, and ran our of the place. The groom chased me for a quarter of the mile calling my name before giving up. I hid in the wine fields behind the place until it was safe to go back. I found out my little brother was forced to take my place, which wasn't too happy about, and the maid of honor treated me like shit the rest of the night... People still come up to me and say, "Hey! Weren't you the guy that ran out of the reception." Thankfully, my friend knows me all too well, and thought it was a perfect "Jeff moment", so I'm still invited to his and his wife's house. Yeah...I don't do weddings...

You should go to the wedding naked.

The red dress is really swanky, you're just standing at a weird angle in that photo. I find the green one looks a bit washed out on you.

Don't wear the watch.

But yeah, that's pretty whack. Was the maid of honor really taht bad looking? Jeez, that seems a little harsh, you know. Even if she was. That's like a public snub and a total slap in the face. Anyway, good to hear you got out alive, though.

UM! If the guy catches it, he puts it on whatever girl catches the boquet (spelling?) of flowers.

I'll tally up the majority next time I get to check online, IF I get to check online this weekend. If not, then the tally goes for green tonight.

10 for green (I am assume SC meant green, I mean, second to naked :erm).

7 for red.

The green one is way, way more flattering to your body (most notably your chest) than the red one. The red one makes you look like an awkward 12 year old (no offense, it happens to the best of us small chested women! :))

I would be battling with the watch situation, too, because I hate not having a watch... But in the end, just for the sake of the elegance of a wedding, I would leave it off. Maybe carry it in a handbag or something?

So who's gettin' married, Ceci? :O
