I couldn't sleep one night and watched two seasons of Newsradio and a bunch of KITH. So naturally Dave Foley seemed a pretty logical choice. Plus, Hyperbole had a Buddy Holly avatar and I thought they looked too similar.

They already did a short tour with them last fall, could that be what you're thinking of? I haven't heard anything about doing another tour.

I decided recently I had to demote radiohead out of my top five, after I realized I only really listen to OK Computer with any sort of regularity, but I listen to alot of My Bloody Valentine which wasn't on my list. I like RH, but not enough to listen to them often i guess.

So.....

SP
Flaming Lips
Hum
MBV
Mogwai

would have to be my top five. In that order. I haven't bothered making a 6-10 list, maybe I should think about that. It'd probably be something like RH, Slowdive, Pixies......hmmm. Maybe the Rheostatics although i think I like them more for who they are rather than their music.

i don't guess this contributes much, but there's no way I could give a definitive top 5. that said, i'm just going to make a stab at my current top 5.

Led Zeppelin
The Rolling Stones
Pedro The Lion
Silver Jews
Low

that disgusts me a little. :/ i shouldn't let other people's opinions of music make me feel bad about my taste.
