Anyone like that duo!? I so dig their first self-titled record, "Fear of Fours" and "What Sound" ...anyone else with me?

for sure!
Either get "Fear of Fours" or "What Sound" (that's where gabriel is on, the other songs are amazingly pretty too)

Fear of Fours has a brilliant opener, "soft mistake". "little things"," all in your hands" "ear parcel" and "fly" are all really good too

What Sound: prolly the album that is the best listening too in a row. all songs easy-listening wise, but with many emotions. the rather happy "sweet" or the sad "i cry", a bass instrumental, "gabriel" (nuff said) and "sweetheart"

be sure though to get the australian (extended) version of the "what sound" album with 11 songs. the european one has only 10 on. there is also a limited edition of "what sound" containing really brilliant live versions of the songs.

fazit: get "what sound" first! :) though both are good.

only get the 1996 debut album if you like drum & bass / electronic beats.

their newest album, btw, (between darkness and wonders) is also not bad, even if it can't reach the earlier successes of what sound [2001] and fear of fours [1999]

i like their first one but the beatz get stale after a few songs.
fear of fours is really good.
what sound? is also decent, my copy kinda skips though

I hate when skipping happens...

otherwise I agree. their first album is quite experimental and has a bit too much beat stuff...
