i use xp, and i want my windows to open to bigger size. they always open to default size which i dont like and i have to open it bigger everytime. how do i set it so that it opens at a certain size each time? either individual folders or all folders in general

for me, most windows open up to the same size and in the same place as the last time i had them open. don't know what to say, dude.

Open a window and that maximize to the size you want. When you close it hold down shift. So when you reopen it it will be at that size.

yeah it used to be like that before for me. i think i might have checked some box or soemthing and now it doesnt do it anymore. i remember on my old computer id just open and folder, resize it, then close it just so that next time i went to that folder itd be set
