sparrow is a pretty shitty song.

I'm not that big a fan of My Mistake but it's certainly better than Because You Are. I also am not fond of Methusela, yuck.

Because you are was given up on. It is so obvious. It's the exact same fucking repitition for the whole song. At least it sounds like it. I'm sure something decent could've been made from it, but alas, no.

And the beginning of My Mistake is great. The rest is pretty meh.

I have very little patience for Sparrow though. One of my least favourite SP songs.

It's the beginning of My Mistake that I don't really like.

Soot & Stars has some really bad lines in it that almost ruin the song for me:

Greek mythology
Esmerelda
Strawberry wine

sparrow/my mistake and alot of the adore outtakes are sort of like alot of those songs from that era: doesnt really compare to--say, Tonite Tonite. but they are nice little compositions. i really like how he kept it real and didnt perpetuate the rawk thing when i really wasnt feeling it

Sparrow is beautiful

I am interested what were the other songs Matt Cameron was drumming at. There was an interview with Cameron where he was talking about 4-6 songs they did together during Adore sessions.
