i think they took a photo of a cheque and sent that over e-mail.

Well, technically I think he was actually auctioning the laptop itself, if you look at the actual item details. So dude might have just sold his laptop whether he likes it or not

Agreed. It's listed under the "Computer" section, not under the photography section.

in other news, that's the laptop i bought a few months ago

except mine has a slightly better processor, more RAM, smaller HD and smaller screen.

i sure as hell didn't pay the price he's talking about either.
