It's my final for my Concert Promotion & Venue Management class.
Did you know that was his nickname as a kid because his great-great granduncle was Herman Melville, author of Moby Dick?
I didn't until today.
I have to do two third party promotions.
What that is is linking the artist with a product that makes "sense".
I'm thinking of linking him to a shaving razor or creme and having some sort of "shave your head & get to meet moby" promotion and also maybe tying him in with some sort of "star" product because of his first single "We Are All Made Of Stars".
Can anyone help reminding me of "star" products?
Oh yeah and I didn't choose Moby. I was lucky enough to pick him out of a hat. My friend got Foo Fighters. :(
At least I didn't get Jewel like this one guy in my class.
