<font color=#007AAA face="courier new">It literally froze solid. Now it's like 100 degrees inside my apartment (no exaggeration) and I'm waiting until 9 when the maitenence guy told me the shit'll be thawed again.

that used to happen all the time in saudi. just turn it off and stick a towel under it on the floor. and waaaiiiiiitttt.

you ran your airconditioner too much or set too low. we used to freeze up the schools ac by setting it on 50 and leaving it
