...and started talking to you about them, would you be freaked out or okay with it? I saw some guy wearing the S+P tour shirt the other day but didn't want to give him a heart attack by accosting him or something. I personally would think it would be nice/interesting, though.

me too. I always end up grabbing my friend's arm and whispering "oh-my-gosh-there's-someone-right-over-there-with-an-SP-shirt-on-what-should-I-do-what-should-I-do" until they walk by and then I kick myself for not doing anything. But it's nice to just see someone with a good taste in music, heh.

I have 2 standard concert shirts I wear - my red zero baseball shirt and my END t-shirt. That END shirt goes over great with people, and I always get at least 1 person at a concert asking me about it. It actually happened to me last night before jimmy eat world show, two dudes just run up to me on the street with the shirt I'm wearing and ask "Man, that's the best shirt, where did you get it?!" Later on, I ran into them again in the show and then one of the dudes started talking to me asking "Where the heck is the Untitled video on the DVD?" and I told him to hit left on the extras menu. He's like "man, how do you find this stuff?" I just grinned and said "The Internet."

This actually happened to me. I was in line to buy popcorn for some movie and I feel someone tap me on the shoulder and I turn and she sais "Can I give you a hug?" and I said..."umm...sure" and she sais "you're like the only person i've ever seen with a pumpkins t-shirt on". So we started talking and I got her number and we talked on the phone...she told me her favorite song was Smiley...she said something that freaked me out though and I ended up never calling her again.

I'd never do that to anyone though.

I've never hugged anyone or been hugged, but I always feel duty bound to compliment Pumpkins shirts, especially older ones. A few months ago when I was at uni in Cardiff, I went into Tescos to do some food shopping and as I went into the bread section, there was this dude in a 1993 Rock Invasion tour shirt.. I just started become all giggly and acting like a teenage girl at an NSYNC concert.. After a few minutes of stalking, I plucked up the courage to say "Cool t-shirt" to which he replied "thanks". My work was done. Oh yeah, once I was going to uni and was wearing my Zero hooded top and this hot asian girl said "Pumpkins rule" as I walked past. Which was nice. I would have stopped but I had too many heavy bags.
There was one semi bad occasion though. At the beggining of term, this guy on my course was wearing a S+P shirt and as I didn't know anyone I went and talked to him. I mentioned Machina 2 and he said he hadn't heard it, so I lent him my copy the day after. He never gave it back. He also owns Linkin Park and Papa Roach shirts http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/frown.gif

That's what I do. However, a lot of people come up to me a lot because I make a lot of pumpkins shirts myself (iron on) and they seem to attract people, who exclaim: "Wow! what a cool shirt!" etc.

Every Time I wear my cross-logo shirt, everybody`s asking with a dumb smile:
"Oh, Stone Temple Pilots"???
Most of them already saw the back of the shirt...bastards

Two weeks ago I saw some guy in my college wearing an old siamese dream shirt, the old white one with the two girls from the promo poster on it. Obviously a shirt from the rock invasion tour. I was like, uhm shall I ask him where he got it? But I decided that this was absurd, cause I was with my friends and I`m annoying my friends with SP so many times...
