It was a play on Paul McCartney's Wings band, they did a tour called Wings over America.

I remember hearing this is what the Sacred + Profane tour was going to be called if D'arcy stayed in the band, and they went all out as far as playing the Glass characters in every single interview, apperance . . .

The second thing I have heard is that is was going to be the final tour for the US, after the band got back from Europe. Things didn't work out, and the band decided to play the last 2 Chicago shows instead.

It was going to be 3 final shows around America.

they were on the official site, in the images directory. for some reason they allowed the directory to be viewed, and those three pictures were inside it. also inside the directory was a zip file containing an ultra-high res picture that looked like it was intended for the cover of a book (not blinking with fists, it was an orange-y cartoon drawing of Glass surrounded by all the alchemical symbols)
