i'd never seen them before. original guitarist bob weir bassist phil lesh drummer and a dude from the wayne whatever from the allman brothers. it was alright- im glad i went but from the tapes i've heard from friends they have lost a lot since garcia died. or maybe they weren't on the right combination of drugs last night. (im saying that cause some old dead head said it to me)

I actually just saw them too. about a week ago. I thought that they actually sounded pretty good. I'm not sure what I was expecting and I don't listen to a lot of their stuff but I had a really good time seeing them. They did Come Together by The Beatles and Johnny B Goode at my show and I was digging the drum solo and jams and whatnot.

That's like going to see Queen without Freddie. It's OVER.
