Oh, I just went downstairs and checked on my tub of couscous and found out that the ratio is 1:1. One cup o' couscous, one cup o' water.

I tried the 1 to 1 ratio and it was rock hard, so it ended up being twice as much water in there.

I just dumped more water in the pot. I salvaged the first batch.

Here's an interesting fact about couscous: the second 'cous' wasn't added until 1976.

Seriously though, I use 1 1/2 cups of boiling water for 1 cup of couscous.

The title of this thread would make a great name for a jam band.
