Please resommend a good CD straight to mp3 encoder. Dealing with wav files and then converting blows. Freeware is preferred. Thanks eveyone.

wtf. it's the best and easiest at that and mp3 encoding. if you can get itunes on PC and are doing it on PC then that might be different though

actually i like how nero can edit waveforms. i used to use that feature constantly.
i suppose you can take one or two of the >s off the equation then.

Yeah DB power amp is good, EAC is always a good choice, and I think Foobar can do it. But people who recomend shit like musicmatch. We had a guy try to post stuff on the groove that he extracted using Real Jukebox. And the best even though we are not really talking about this are the people who copy cd's by ripping them to wav converting them to mp3 then burning the cd.

And one other thing unless you have a reason for using MP3, for example you ahve portable player that only plays mp3. There really is no reason to use MP3, AaC and other lossy codecs will give you better quality for the same or smaller size.
