What's sad is that that would be the best thing ever.

Ending each cd with a different version of Silverfuck is genius.

Oh well. Pointless thread.

would anyone mind if Virgin picked the bones of the Pumpkins clean and just released shameless cash-in live album after live album after live album?

Me? Not one bit.

Not one bit. Damn right. I was just looking at the countless re-releases the Stones have had over the years and look forward to the day when some redundant Siamese Dream re release is reissued for the third time. I've never enjoyed wasting my money on anything more than I have with countless SP promos and foreign prints which I will never listen too and rarely look at. But it does make my CD collection look pretty damn cool.

Is there any truth to this? Or is this some sort of joke?

Well all I know is-- even though I'm probably a big Pumpkins fan, Billy's live work -- well some of it, isn't all that great.

Especially his voice sometimes, AND live, can be horrid. Its almost like he's trying to sing badly on purpose.

But the new solo record will hopefully turn out to be sort of a lou reed/sonic youth sort of feel to it.
