Is that the one where they attach heartrate monitors to the players, and you can watch their pulses on your screen? I want to see that.

His name is Antonio Esfandiari and he is 27 years old. He won the major $10,000 buy-in NL tournament this year at the Commerce Casino in LA and walked away with $1.3 million. He, along with Daniel Negreanu and a few other young poker stars will be featured in an upcoming documentary on the lives of professional poker players. He is a very good player that loves to trash talk at the table. However, he is not at the level of Phil Ivey or Daniel Negreanu, in my opinion.

Gus Hansen a.k.a. "The Great Dane" from Denmark. Probably the most fearless no-limit hold em player since Stu Ungar.

I check it out from time to time, its interesting to watch. I cant understand the sudden popularity though...well its probably because it features average people making big bucks.

I grew up playing various gambling card games (5 card draw, 7 card stud, hold 'em, black jack) I bet I would do ok, doubt I would take money home though.

If you ever get a chance to see him on the first season of the World Poker Tour when he played against Phil Hellmuth, do it. He destroyed Phil and totally put him on tilt the entire game.
