View Full Version : Spiderman 2 The game (no movie spoilers please) - Also, Videogame Topic
Well this game totally rules. I didn't play the previous one but I've been playing this on PS2 and it's so great. The city is HUGE and you can just swing around and do crazy shit forever like in GTA3 or Vice City. There are also random crimes and missions all over the place like in True Crime: Streets of LA that you can solve or ignore. The voices are rad and the animation and cinematic stuff is excellent. I think I should see the movie before I play too much further cause I think it's gonna start spoiling.
I'm gonna go play some more!
For the last couple days I was playing some Ape Escape 2 and before that, some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.

i haven't played any of the spiderman games. i'd probably ignore the missions and go around dry-humping fat people.
There's random talk in the streets like in True Crime. One guy yells out "Yo Spidey, you da man!" and then Spidey goes "No, YOU da man!"

ahahaha that rocks
This game is still awesome. I went and saw the movie and as Spidey was swinging around the city it was like I knew the feeling, the game is so much like the movie, I love it!!! Pure genius.

that best have been a joke you bitch.
One of the less funny but still funny random comments when you're running around is someone will shout out "Get a job!" and he'll say "If you only knew."
A few other random things people in the streets yell are things like "Freak!" or "Yo webhead, what's happening?"
Everyone should at LEAST rent this game, the feeling of swinging freely throughout the city is so amazing.
jack_kerouac03 07-04-2004, 05:19 PM I am waiting until this fall to buy a PS2 - Metal Gear 3 is going to be amazing. Final Fantasy 12 and GTA: San Andreas come out around the same time too. Sounds like I will have to pick up Spidey 2.

does anyone have any screen shots of the game?
i saw a commercial and thought it looked rad.
I can't wait to go play it some more, everyone needs to pick it up. I think I'm at around 36% done but I could play the random street crime forever and just enjoy swinging around. So spectacular.
I want to see the movie again.
