Thanks for sharing that!
Can you explain more about the "Phoebe" version?
Also, do you have the "Do you Realize?" video? I can't rip it from their online site :/

I wish I knew more about the Phoebe version. I know it was made for use on "Friends". I'm not hosting these videos; you can thank George "Particle" Salisbury for them. There's a Lips FTP that has the video, but I can't get into it right now; it's constantly full.

I suppose the Lips are old enough to sell out. At least it's not for barbecue sauce or something.

ok, wtf is the deal with the FL and that MTV cartoon? the one about the cretin-ish looking college kids? it seemed really incongrous and weird.

Well, you saw two different ones, so you know that two exist. One was directed by Wayne, the other was directed by a more professional guy (Mark somebody). I don't know which I like better.

Yeah. There's two versions of the Do You Realize video:

1) Directed by Wayne... features him singing and playing acoustic, walking towords the camara. Michael and Steven are wearing the bunny suits and hold disco balls and scantily clad woman dance all around.

2) Directed by Mark Romanek. The new one I haven't seen :(

We get the point, you're defending them.

i also wouldn't establish a nation the size of the united states, but that doesn't mean i can't criticize them for going to war with iraq.

What is wrong with people? The Flaming Lips have always been a little light-hearted, fun band. The 90210 appearance is in almost any of their biographies at this point, as it reveals an important part of the band. They'll make appearances for the fun of it, and there's nothing wrong with that.
