Just now. They just opened a Taco Bueno here today. *squeal*

We always went to taco bueno in Arlington, whenever I was there, so I'm glad we finally have one.

What, exactly, differentiates Tex-Mex from just Mexican food?

Interior Mexican food is a great deal different from the American version of it. There's a restaraunt in Austin called Fonda San Miguel that specializes in it. Corn tortillas instead of flower, black beans not brown, there are other differences I think. One of them is there's no fetish with cheese. Tex-Mex is infatuated with cheese.

I don't think I would like "real" Mexican food because I love melted cheese.

I am not going to let that ruin my Taco Bueno experience. Not going to! Even though that's really really really nasty.

But I don't care. So ha.

generally, yeah, it's commonly just the way to say "not authentic mexican" which does exist, but is hard to find.

At least 4 months ago. I don't like eating it when it's cold out.

I wish I had easy access to good mexican food. I'm sure that what I'm getting in Canada is nothing compared to what it's supposed to be like.

Nothing on earth will ever make me go to Texas.

I'd visit you if you lived in Boston.
